Wild-Caught Cleaned Pipis (Frozen) per kg
Pipis are one of the ocean's most subtle delights. These pipis, which are clams, are normally white to light beige on the outside and dark purple on the inside of their shells. They have a mild sea flavour and, unlike other clams, and are soft and delicate in texture when cooked properly.
To cook in the bag, immerse it in boiling water for 6-8 minutes, or until the pipis are sizzling hot. Remove the pipis and juice from the bag by cutting it open. Cut open the bag and extract the pipis to cook out of it. Steam or sauté for 8-10 minutes, or until pipis are steaming hot.
To cook in the microwave, cut a small hole in the bag and insert the slit side up in the microwave. Microwave for roughly 5-7 minutes on HIGH.
