The northern European langoustine (or scampi as we know them) can be found in the clear seas surrounding Denmark, particularly those near Læsø. It is a prized delicacy all over the world due to its strong flesh and gorgeous colour. Frozen langoustine are produced at Læsø Fiskeindustri.
Læsø Langoustines are well-known for their culinary versatility, since they may be grilled, sautéed with rice and pasta, and transformed into delectable seafood fillings. Some people like to eat them raw as sashimi.
