Fresh Whole Crystal Crab per kg
Crystal crab (Chaceon albus) is a rare species of crab found exclusively in Western Australia. It is widely considered one of the best-tasting crabs in the world, and many chefs consider it to be the greatest. The thin shell, delicious meat, distinct appearance, and large size appeal to both cooks and diners. It is low in both fat and calories, as well as cholesterol and carbohydrates. Rich in vitamins and minerals, crab meat also contains Omega-3 acids.
Crystal Crabs are usually steamed or boiled and served rather unadorned to allow the meat to be fully appreciated. They may be made into a salad or seafood cocktail or served as a standalone feature with sauces or other accompaniments
