Cut onions into 4. From every quarter of the thinnest wedges. Pour them into a bowl, cover with cold water and add the vinegar.
Wash cherry tomatoes and cut them into 4, pour into a bowl and season them with salt and a drizzle of oil. Add the pieces of basil pieces with your hands and mix it all up.
