The "tiger-like stripes" on the shells of Tiger Prawns are well known. The flavour is mellow and ocean-like, and the meat is durable and firm. These prawns are sustainably farmed in Queensland, cooked immediately upon harvest and individually quick frozen (IQF) to lock in all the juices and goodness of the natural prawn.
Due to their soft shells, soft shelled prawns are frequently wrongly classified as being of low quality or "not fresh." However, these prawns have just gone through a moult. As a result, you can acquire more prawns per kilogramme because the soft shells are lighter than typical hard shells. Unpeeled, these prawns are excellent for deep frying, and the shell can be consumed as well.
