Sushi Ebi Cooked Vannamei Prawn (Frozen)
Ebi is one of the popular dishes among sushi lovers. Ebi means shrimp (or prawn) in Japanese. It’s traditionally prepared by butterflying them, then skewed and boiled. Standard boiled Ebi sushi has a mild, somewhat sweet flavour. It doesn't taste fishy and has a tinge of umami. They are ideal for beginners because of this.
Butterflied and boiled shrimp are served with sushi rice as Ebi nigiri. It's ideal for children and is beginner-friendly. It's also one of the favourites on the menu. The slightly sour, soft sushi rice contrasts with the shrimp's sweet, crunchy flavour. It’s often accompanied by soy sauce and wasabi.
